Cycles des Fans was born from the desire to share with you the riches of this territory, where the unexpected, the wild, the beautiful and the unknown intertwine.
You will discover, over the kilometers, picturesque hamlets as well as generous nature which forms a natural amphitheater between the Col des Fans, the Col de Saint-Genest, the Col du Mazel and the Col des Hières.
Mountain biking is the ideal means of transport to discover this green and hilly region, representative of an authentic and rural Ardèche which surprises with its diversity!
We offer you high-end semi-rigid bikes that are the ideal companions for this terrain. Their telescopic saddles and large wheels will be appreciated by cyclists of all levels, beginners and experienced alike.
Our rental offer combined with accommodation offers a sporty and fun alternative to the car, and a good dose of disconnection. A “Slow Tourism” allowing travelers to rediscover local areas, in a tourist experience with low CO² emissions.

Simon, founder of Cycles des Fans and a BPJEPS Cycling Activities Instructor-Guide, strengthened his passion for cycling during a two-person bike trip from Toulouse to Bangkok. This experience fueled his desire to share his taste for cycling adventure in the heart of the magnificent Ardèche. At the same time, as an independent human resources professional, he uses his knowledge of the business world to design activities adapted to teams, promoting cohesion and sharing. His motivation is to make you experience enriching and revitalizing adventures while strengthening the bonds between participants.

Black
Mickaël, a mountain bike enthusiast for over 25 years, has explored many facets of cycling over the years. A BPJEPS instructor guide in cycling activities and holder of a CQP cycle technician, he now lives his passion for cycling to the fullest. Specializing in cycling adventures, whether gravel or long mountain bike raids in France and abroad, his taste for adventure and escape leads him to share this pleasure with others. He joins Cycles des Fans to co-supervise and lead the mechanical workshops, bringing his expertise and passion to all participants.
History of the place
Cycles des Fans is nestled in an old Ardèche farm located at Col des Fans, whose name derives from the Latin word Fagus, meaning beech. With several hundred years of history, this house would have once welcomed travelers and served as a place to eat. Today, the premises dedicated to our activities are an old stable that we have carefully restored, keeping the original mangers and harmoniously mixing stone and wood, to remain faithful to the authenticity of the place. This project was born thanks to the intervention of many craftsmen and friends, including Pierre, Olivier, Dominique, Bryan, Mickaël, Marie, Philippe, and Sophie. We are proud to present to you a place full of history, where the old dialogues with the modern for a unique and authentic experience.

In 2019, during a stay organized by the association Comme les Autres, we met Sandrine Ligonès, who supervised the group. A few years later, after discovering by chance on the LCP channel the initiative she leads with Éric Stracchi, Dynamoov, we got back in touch with her. This association supports young disabled children and opens up new horizons for them through sport and cycling. Fully sharing the values and vision of this action, we are proud and happy to support Dynamoov. Long live this great initiative!
