Service Description

Nothing is more important than perfectly functioning brakes! This module will give you the keys to maintain and repair mechanical and hydraulic brakes. Objective: Know how to maintain and repair mechanical and hydraulic brakes for maximum safety on the road or off-road. Program: • Adjusting mechanical brakes: adjusting cable tension, adjusting pads and checking for wear. • Maintaining mechanical brakes: replacing cables and housings, adjusting tension screws and calipers. • Hydraulic brakes: presentation of the different systems (DOT and mineral oil), explanation of how they work. • Bleeding hydraulic brakes: complete bleeding method, replacing brake fluid, and managing air bubbles. • Changing brake pads: identifying wear, choosing pads that are suitable for your system, and installing them correctly. • Diagnosing common faults: common problems with mechanical and hydraulic brakes, how to solve them on the road or in the workshop. This training includes theoretical and practical input, led by a qualified professional mechanic. You will have access to a room equipped with all the necessary equipment to disassemble and reassemble the mechanical elements of your bike. However, it is necessary to bring your own bike, and spare parts are not included in the price. The cycle is accessible to all levels: beginners wishing to learn the basics or cyclists who already have some knowledge, everyone will be able to progress at their own pace.
